"Branded to Kill" VENICE CLASSICS AWARD for the Best Restored Film

The year 2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of director Seijun Suzuki. The 4K digital restoration of his legendary film noir masterpiece The Brand to Kill won the Best Classic Film Award at the 79th Venice International Film Festival. Other films in the line-up include Detective Breau 23 Go to Hell Basters, Gate of Flesh, The Born Fighter, Youth of the Beast, and Tokyo Drifter.
