Nikkatsu Roman Porno 50th Anniversary

Nikkatsu began producing the Roman Porno series in 1971. In 2022, to celebrate its 50th anniversary, The Oldest Profession (1974) by Noboru Tanaka premiered at the 78th Venice International Film Festival's Venice Classics. The line-up includes Lovers are Wet by Takumi Kumashiro (1975), Nights of the Felines by Noboru Tanaka (1972), and also three newly produced in 2022, Hand by Daigo Matsui, Safe Word by Koji Shiraishi and When the Rain Falls by Shusuke Kaneko.
